Andrew Lloyd Webber honoured in Hungary (RTÉ News)
Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber has been presented with one of Hungary's highest honours by the country's Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany. Lloyd Webber was presented with the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit yesterday in Budapest, where his new musical 'The Beautiful Game' is opening.

The cast of the new Broadway musical Brooklyn will open the upcoming New York Emmy Awards on April 6.
Cleavant Derricks, Eden Espinosa, Will Swenson, Shelley Thomas and Haneefah Wood will open the annual awards show with a performance of Brooklyn's "Streetsinger." The New York Emmys will be broadcast from 8-10 PM ET on WNYC-TV (Channel 25 on Time Warner Cable).
Directed and choreographed by Big River's Jeff Calhoun, Brooklyn began previews Sept. 23, 2004, and officially opened Oct. 21 at the Plymouth Theatre.
