Sarah Brightman sang the female soprano part. It and history were what many thought he would choose to do for a career. Lloyd Webber saw his share of shows as a child, too, but he was born in London, the son of William Lloyd Webber, Director of the London College of Music, and was trained at the Royal Academy of Music, hardly the sort of place where you'd be likely to hear Oklahoma!

Song and Dance
Me On A Sunday, a concert for theatre, starring Marti Webb. The dance numbers from act two originated on an album Lloyd Webber wrote for his brother, Julian Lloyd Webber. The title was changed and Sarah Brightman was put in the role of "Emma" for a television special. The original concept of Tell Me On A Sunday has since been resorted and it reopened in London in April of 2003 starring Denise Van Outen. It was still running as of September, 2003.
