About Andrew Lloyd Webber
He has won many awards including an Academy Award, Tony Awards, Grammy Awards, Drama Desk awards, and Critic Circle awards. As a child, he prefered playing his own compositions rather than some one else's during his music lessons. The first musical, The Likes of Us, was a failure, but soon afterwards Joseph was created.

Musical will benefit kids (Desert Sun)
Proceeds from a June 25 performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," at the Palm Canyon Theatre in Palm Springs will benefit Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Riverside County, a nonprofit organization serving abused, neglected and abandoned children in the juvenile court system.

Me On A Sunday, a concert for theatre, starring Marti Webb. The dance numbers from act two originated on an album Lloyd Webber wrote for his brother, Julian Lloyd Webber. The title was changed and Sarah Brightman was put in the role of "Emma" for a television special. The original concept of Tell Me On A Sunday has since been resorted and it reopened in London in April of 2003 starring Denise Van Outen. It was still running as of September, 2003.
